What we do
We provide interpretive and experiential design services for Museums, Exhibitions, Visitor Experiences and Interiors. We can engage at any stage of the a project from inception to completion, working with curators and content developers to develop briefs and interpretation plans, create visuals to aid fund raising and HLF bids, develop concepts, scheme and detail designs for production while working with various industry specialists such as architects, engineers, graphic designers, software and film producers, AV integrators, and fit-out contractors.
Both Alice and Fraser have been working in design since leaving university in 1998 where they met while studying 3D design. Fraser spent several years working for the Science Museum on a number of touring and blockbuster exhibitions such as The Millennium Dome, Sparking Reaction, and Chelsea World of Sport. Alice worked for a number of interior and exhibition designers including Robin Moore Ede & Associates, Real Studios and Atkins Interiors on key projects such as the Harley Gallery and Cafe, Oscar Wilde at the British Library and Royal Caribbean Flag Ship Interiors.
In 2007 both Alice and Fraser decided to set up a business partnership offering their design services on a freelance and consultancy basis. In September 2014 it felt a natural progression to register a Ltd company 'Hall & Hall Design' with a growing number of clients including the Natural History Museum, National Portrait Gallery, National Maritime Museum, London Transport Museum and London Zoo.
